Double Bass K&K BassMax pickup + mic condenser

I wanted to share with you my simple sound test, recorded at home, blending together the signal from the K&K BassMax pickup (30%) and from the Groove Tubes GT 55 mic condenser (70%).

My aim would be to perform live with this setup

That's nice tone. I have a BassMax that, as you know, is mid-range heavy and a bit nasal when used all by itself. Mixing it with a mic is a good idea. It's a lot to ask of our sound man but why not try.
