Kasim Sulton Archer Bass

I read about this in Bass Player Magazine a while ago. Does anyone have experience/more information on it? I like the looks of it, and the configuration is appealing. I just don't want to plunk down $500 sight unseen.

I have seen Kasim's and it looks to be a very nice instrument. He was a devoted Spector guy for years and I wonder it it has that feel to it. Nice shape and stuff I have also been tempted to do that as well.

Made in China unfortunately.

I have an original version of this bass in pearl white. #6 of 6.
I did not know they were made in China when I bought it.
It is well constructed. There are a couple of minor flaws in the white finish.
Fretboard is very flat, the neck radius feels nice. I do like the bridge on this bass. I think it would make a great improvement on a couple of my older basses. It will produce a very wide range of sounds. You can get it honkin' like an old Rick if you play with it enough. P-ups are nice. Great bottom.
I don't think it would be a bad investment at 500 for the new V2.
