Keep Black Bass Swirl Free

I just picked up this Black Beauty Classic Stingray. And I am looking for tips on how to keep the swirls to a minimum. I have found that every black bass I have ever had got swirls in like a week of ownership.

Any tips, tricks or secret potions that you anyone uses to keep their black basses swirl free?

If you do play it, I suggest white cotton gloves and a long sleeved thermal underwear shirt.

That is the one color I will never own a bass or a car in.
