Ken Smith Burner Lead Bass

Nice as always @Les Fret .

since you asked I have several basses with piccolo strings that are used for guitarish parts for chords and leads. My main piccolo is a Carvin LB50 tuned EADG and have a Harmony H22B for blues or jazzier tones in the same tuning.

Thanks. Ok, cool piccolo tuning. Have tried it a couple of months but I prefer tenor tuning or six string bass myself for the higher stuff and lead lines. Because I also play a lot of guitar piccolo tuning appeals less to me. But I can see why bass players who don’t play much guitar like it.
