Hi all,
I have been using KS Cmpressors, 5str, (ML guage) for quite a few years and it is time for a new set.
There are plenty of 4str sets from the usual sources but I am having difficulty finding the low taper B (.125) to complete the set.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You can get in touch with Matt at Strings By Mail, [email protected], and tell him what you need. He'll probably have to special order one for you, but the turnaround time shouldn't be too bad with them.

I've dealt with him for singles and custom sets in the past and he's been good to deal with.

I have good luck getting Ken Smith strings at juststrings dot com. I havent used their Compressors, but I'm pretty sure you can get them there.

KS Compressors are re-branded GHS Compression Wound strings in custom-gauged sets so you might be able to get what you need directly from GHS. It will pair up with your 4-string KS sets just fine because they’re the same strings.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I did check with the sources recommended here and found that GHS has a "Pressure Wound" but the low B is .128 and NOT taper wound.
My fave strings are out there somewhere!
