Ken Smith Pics Thread???

and does anyone know if the Ken Smith "Fusion" body shape is smaller than the regular BSR body shape? or is the BSR still the smallest KS body? i can see how the lower bout is slightly different, but are there other differences?

It's definitely one of the nicest looking basses I've seen.

OK, here is mine. . . BSR-M, all-ash body.

I got a CR 4- string (old style, shorter body wings)... bolt-on, five piece neck, walnut center, maple top/back... Played the living daylights out of this bass for about 8 years, one of two basses I own (the other is my Sadowsky P-bass, totally different vibe).

I wish I had a picture to show (its all bruised up now), of course you can see it in person if you would like!! But yeah, my bolt-on Smith sounds so good in the mix, everything is clear, with that strange (a great strange) upper mid sound. Its also a good bass for solo stuff, the upper range is beautiful sounding. But the low end growl/punch is so addictive sounding, damn I think I am going to go play my it now...

here's a pic of my Ken Smith BT 6. I bought it 1989. It sounds fantastic, unfortunately it has the neck diving problem.For this reason i play it most in the studio.

I'll have to see if I can find an old online pic anywhere of my BSR5 with a solid walnut body. My digi cam sucks a do wouldn't do justice.


Here it is, a 1998 BSR5-WG and weighs in all of 8.7 lbs.
