Kens Smith MD7, EBAY

I dig the bass. I don't have the money for it. If i did have the money though, i'm not sure if i'd get that one-i'd definately have to see what Nordstrand, Roscoe, JP, and Dingwall could do first [i'm thinkin-they'd be more cost effective-taking nothing away from the Bass or Ken Smith {the basses and the man}.

That's all

ive never had any experience with ED, and his feedback is 100% pos, so what's the deal with him? ive been looking at his webpage and im wanting to know why i shouldnt buy from him?

I was wondering the same thing some time ago, then people from here enlightend me with post and experiences, I am sure a search will provide some insight. :)

Ed Roman is a VERY opinioned fellow. He has been discussed to death - he basically criticizes gear that he doesn't sell, in order to promote his own line that he builds/sells. Needlessly to say, the portraits that he paints are not exactly "fair and balanced."

He has these rants on his website that you really have to read...

I have played Melvin'd 30 fret 7 string and i recently played Craig Garfinkel's MD7. Both outstanding instruments with nice thin necks as opposed to the baseball bats one usually finds on an ERB.
