WHOA! Love those pictures, I've never opened up my unit due to the security screws but it's so cool to see the guts that make the beast live :bassist:

When I was talking to Les, he was talking about another production model that was an all around bass amp. He's been working for Victoria Am Company making some killer guitar amps and other boutique things. Truly a master at his craft, I just wish he focused all his attention on bass stuff!! haha

Just came across this, posted a few days ago...not bad for an awesome pre ;)

Another interesting note about one of our conversations was in regards to the Hi-Z input on the unit. He recommended I play my P-Bass through that input as the voicing of that channel/input compliments it all really well. Surprise...he was right, warms up the sound so much and gives you even more versatility for a more vintage tone. Try it.

When I bought it, I did a lot of searching and there was very little info, beyond the fact that pretty much everyone loved the sound. I happen to have a big set of screwdriver fittings and it was no problem to open it up and get some shots one night.

I know that Les was threatening to 'rerelease' the 777 a few years ago, but then the site went down about a year ago and it seems like maybe it became a dead issue. It will be interesting to see if anything comes of the talk about new stuff.
