Kevin Shaw Amps

If I were still playing gigs, I would never have traded my B-150 amp. There was just nothing not to like about it and its weight is very manageable (especially compared to the Reeves C225). I apparently like brighter tones than @MarkA , as I never felt any need to modify it. The low end isn't as huge as the Reeves, but I see that as a good thing in most gig situations.
I still like pretty open tones (ref my clip in post #85)... this just lets me turn the treble control up a little higher while the pull-bright is engaged (brings in a little more midrange/upper mids), though I don't think it's quite as wide open up top -- still more open than any of my other amps, I think.

At any rate, it is literally, I believe, one cap -- I made sure that it could be readily switched back to "stock" if I wanted (tech said, "No problem," and that it'd be easy).

Mine brings a smile to my face everytime I play it..... Which quickly turns into some serious bass face shortly after! The mids are perfect for what I do. Not an over abundance of low end.... But that just works for me.

The B150 has been the perfect amp for me. The dirt simple 115 Kevin built for me is the icing on the cake.
