Warwick Streamer LX5 is most cool, second comes the Status S1, third comes in (believe it or not!) the Squier Jazz bass. All of which im lucky enough to own! A cool bass of a mate is robs, hes got a Tobias which in all honesty, kicks the pants off mine!

I must say the thunderbird is a rather nice bass, but I would rather take a ripper. No matter how strange they look. The tone is there man.

When I was station in N.C I had a friend that had a Gibson "ripper and it kicked ass ! it was maple on maple and it had tone in it that I will never forget,and it also recorded real well.
