I am having a lot of trouble finding strings for my Kiesel 5 string, short scale Vader bass.
They don't have to be double ball as the neck will accept regular strings as well.
Any suggestions would be a big help.
Thank you
MM
I really am not sure about that. I got it just before Covid and really haven't done much with it.
And if you have not changed strings on your Vader before, you're in for a treatTook me a couple of string changes to get it right.
Not to derail, but does this type of Kiesel bridge accept guitar strings with their smaller guitar ball ends?
Curious if it would make a good option for piccolo tuning(s), utilizing guitar strings.
Good question! I'm trying to find a good picture of the claw that holds the ball end but I think it would fit if I remember right. I wonder if it would be able to tune correctly though?
I live vicariously thru the mis-adventures of others. What went wrong and how was it remedied?

I have a Kiesel Zeus and it is bitch to string.
it is difficult to find a B string that will fit the head end.
130 is just too big
also guitar string doesn’t fit in the bridge.
right now I think I’ll string it E:E like a guitar using a 7 string set
My problem is with thé little screw that has a hard time tighning up with a 130. I guess it stripped either way Im not impress with headlessinteresting I use a 130 on my Osiris and have used up to a 135. According to my calipers, a 142 should fit, but I have not actually tried it.
