Kiesel Vader VB5 Experience?

Yea, Ive been patiently waiting like a kid in December LMAO! 
Should be done here in the next couple weeks. I'm going on 8 weeks exactly today. 
Nice to have others to share the burden with tho 
I'm super glad this forum talked me into buying one. I think I got one of the last passive pickup batches. Nothing against actives, I like the tone just hate 9v with a passion.

I called and asked a rep how the low b was on the short scale and he said they were great. We will see but I wnt fpr the short scale 
I'm just super tempted to order one and debating 4 or 5 string. I play 5 string but actually don't own a 4.
Just a thought as I don't have one. 1 less string to keep from vibrating but of course I'd be losing out on the extra 4th below as well as fingering options. Love the short scale idea.

Well just an update......Big Blue arrived last Saturday and I just have to say I'm blown away! 
As an owner of (3 Kiesel 7 string guitars) they all have been amazing sound wise, feel, and aesthetics. This bass is no different! But where's the pics you ask...... well I'm waiting on a nice sunny day then I'm gonna have my gf (aka the photographer) take a nice photo shoot of the vader family then start a NBD thread and link this one with it

Update on mine. Somehow I ordered a 4 string. They were good enough to not ship it and start a 5 string for me instead. Looks like about another 6 week wait. Sight - how did I do that???
The gig was a challenge as I was playing and mixing, through IEM. i had a small amp on stage for the band to hear. However I did enjoy playing it. The low B seemed fine even though the bass was a short scale.
I wonder if your 4 banger short string is going into the 'in stock' basses???
My 4 banger hasn't shown up yet as i looked from the day I canceled that order.
Can't really speak on the tone yet. I played through IEM at the gig and had the whole fOH mix in them. I had a small stage amp but couldn't tell. It has a master volume and a pickup pot that I relly like. Then there are two tone pots. Each has a dual moving pot with center detents. not sure at this time it they are tone for each pup or a bass and a treble.

I had a shorty 6 and thought it was excellent, especially at about a grand used ... super comfortable neck radius ... B was kinda muddy, but it was only 30" after all, and passive too
Well, better late than never. I didn't forget about the porn I promised Once again totally blown away by this instrument. If you are thinking about getting one, pull the trigger. I also want to point out the flame in the neck. It's slightly hard to see, but it has an amazing flame all throughout. Anyways enough talking....... Here's BIG BLUE!
