would this work if attached to th hot battery lead? bass would be dead, but it would prevent battery drain. simple off/on switch? possibly mounted on the battery compartment?
Why on earth ? There are mute switches a plenty for use with your foot - that don't pop when you throw them. The good ones even feature a nice little stage tuner along side![]()

my idea was more for saving battery life vs. just muting the bass. I don't want to go active/passive because I have no interest in passive mode (and don't want to do that much rewiring)
