Kinal basses, opinions please!!

The best basses in the world! Yes I'm happily biased.

My Kinal is fantastic. Since I love in Seattle, I was able to hand select the woods. I chose all the hardware as well. Mike sent me pictures as it was built. When I picked it up at his house in Vancouver I was stunned by the bass, it's simply the best looking bass I've ever seen. But mire important, it's got the best tone around. I also own 2 Zon, including a custom build, as well as Modulus, and they don't compare to the Kinal. I opted for the Barts with the the 3 way options for the coils and the mid selector. I can get a fantastic array of tones with the bass. The ergos are great. Mike is completely approachable, and unlike the previous post, I got everything I asked for. I had another 35" scale that also had great tone, just the wrong scale for me. If you want to try, Dan at Luthiers Acess Group has a Kinal you could check out. You can't go wrong with a Kinal.

I just recently was able to acquire a Kinal SK4-B. After making a living for decades playing bass, I can easily say this is surely one of the finest instruments I have ever owned or played. Mine has 21 frets and the Bart J/MM pickup configuration w/ 3-band electronics. The wood choice, fret work, neck shape and finish, attention to detail and design, the balance and weight are all simply superlative. If you see one, buy it. If not, message me!
