Woo hoo! To my eyes...and granted this opinion and $5 will get you your favorite foo-foo drink at Starsucks...the blades took away from the look of the top. Which is stunning...and now only has the black color of pickups & hardware to complement it.And I just made the mental leap that I like the way the Barts look on my bass. I won't go so far as to say I prefer it, but it does now look good to my eyes. That's good enough for me!

I'm with Jerry on preferring the look of the Bart's over the Barden's.
I'm not a huge fan of the blade look (reminds me of the old Bill Lawrence P/U's).
Thanks, Brian!
Here's the slap before/after that I promised in another thread. I didn't bring my "A" slap game to the Bart clip 'cause my thumb has a cut. I was screaming the whole time I played it, but that's what I do for you guys!
"Slap Silliness" (Bardens)
"Slap Silliness" (Barts)

Nice Greg!
I prefer the Barts also. I presume both tracks were played with the same strings, gauge, etc.?
Bass sounds more like a Jazz bass to me.
