Brother, you hit the nail on the head there. The Dead was the only concert I have ever walked out on....talk about "suckage".
Ace is a much better guitarist than Jerry Garcia or Bob Weir. I'd like to see Jerry pull off the lead from "Calling Dr. Love."
Thank you for purposely continuing to be rude and ignoring the purpose of this thread after I asked people several times not to turn it into a bashing thread. My kids used to do the same thing when they were 9 or 10.
My all time favorite Ace solo is the on in 100,000 years that consists largely of one note 1/4's, then 1/8ths, then 16ths etc. it was the RIGHT note! Genius.
When did i praise the Dead? All I said was they were the only old band I had seen with teenagers in the crowd.
As for JimmyM, you're the one doing all the bashing I am just standing up to you. Just because someone does not agree with your musical taste does not make them a "moron" as you say.
