Double Bass KK Baby Bass String Buzz

I recently acquired a relatively unplayed KK Traditional Model Bass from 2018. The Bass is in beautiful shape and was played only for 20 mins before sitting in the case u til I purchased it 2 weeks ago.

I’m noticing however that this thing has some pretty nasty string buzz and was wondering if anyone else has this issue? I’m taking it in for a luthier to check out this week, but I’d be very surprised that an instrument this brand knew would have been shipped with such a bad planing job on the fingerboard. I should also note it’s currently strung up with Compás 180 Innovations, a type of string I’ve never dealt with before. Is this typical of these strings?

Compas were made by Velvet, all their strings were discontinued.
Are you sure the fingerboard is badly shaped?
If you have a spare set of other strings, you may want to try them.

Some Compas 180 strings were badly wound, so check the windings.
I think that the wood may have been warped a bit over time, so planing might be needed.
BTW, the Compas 180 are tricky to mount (if they are really Compas 180, send a picture of the underlength and upper tailpiece).
