The last circuit block in a Blues Driver is a bass boost around ~120Hz but with only a small amount of gain. You can change that 6K8 resistor in the feedback loop of the opamp to a 25K pot to get a lot more low end boost at the end of the circuit.

EHX Bass Soul Food is a good klon clone and has a blend knob that really helps with the low end. Also, it's very affordable.
What's good everybody. Recently ODs of the klon and BD type have piqued my interest. I know that both types, along with almost any non-bass specific drives suck the low ends, however, I would like to survey the lay of the land for some that are viable on bass that I could use on guitar as well.
From what I've gathered the following are decent on bass:
Would appreciate thoughts and expertise on the matter. Cheers!
- Wampler Tumnus
- JRAD Archer Ikon
- MXR Fat Sugar
- Keeley Super Phat Mod
Also seconding the Nobels ODR; if anything the circuit adds bass at higher gain with the Spectrum control at noon or higher, which is why the current Nobels full-size and most ODR clones have a bass cut control.
Definitely get the Deluxe version for bass if the Tumnus is the route you go, makes a big difference. I used one for awhile, didn't like it all that much for really overdriven tones, but for mild it works great.I Use a Wampler Tumnus Deluxe for mildly overdriven sounds. It's very transparent and can be used as an always on pedal or a boost. Higher gain settings sound great too.
I can't speak for the mini but the deluxe has a bass knob that I usually set at 1 oclock with no bass loss whatsoever.
Interesting. I have this on my guitar board. I'll try it on bass and see what happens.I haven't tried it, but I am told it sounds great on Bass.
The Pettyjohn MkII Myth (Klon), 20Hz - 25KHz, 36 volt operation from a 9v 300mA power supply.

Pick up a Boss LS-2
Another great pedal to try is the Timmy
The double barrel is a 2 in 1 of the Morning Glory (blues breaker style) and a Moonshine (overdrive with clean blend).
DOD Carcosa
I've got a BD-2 clone from the Winnipeg Electrical Co that works well. It is described as having more low end, and if I crank the bass control it sounded pretty good. I didn't get to test it much before packing everything away to move, but I want to dig it back out again to play with it some more.
Homework Series Blues
I bought it just for the look, but pretty good pedal too which was a bonus.I love the Hilroy design!
