Knob loose

Hello,

I just bought a used Greg Bennett Corsair CR1 bass. I have never played any kind of guitar, so I need some advice. One of potentiometers is loose. I cannot figure out how to remove the knob to it. Is it just pressed on?

Unless there's a small set-screw in the side of the knob, its most likely just pressed on.



....and if it's never been off before, could be challenging to remove

Most of the import model knobs are press on over a knurled shaft. If it is really stuck on there, a trick is to use washcloth (to protect the body) and use a spoon to gently lever it up.

Thanks, it was pressed on. I was able to get it off without damage.
