Knob questions

Newb here with lots of newb questions for your pleasure.

Do the v/t knobs without a screw set only work with the split shafts and do the ones with set screw only work with solid shafts?

Also does anyone know if Fender Amp knobs will work with either the splits or solids?

If they have a set screw and a smooth interior to the hole, they are for solid shaft pots. If the knobs have grooves on the inside of the hole, they are for split shaft pots and usually push on with no set screw.

It does. And also note that screw knobs can ALSO work for split shafts. you have to buy these little adapter tubes or the knobs will be crooked when you tighten the screws.
