Korean Squier

Hi,
I am looking at a Squier Jazz Bass on my local CL. The guy says that it was made in Korea in 1979-1980. From what i can figure out is that it was made in 1997. The SN is KV970xxxxx. Am I right? Also, does any one know what models of jazz bass that they made in Korea? These are the pictures that he sent.

KV97 = Korean made by Saehan in 1997 -Saehan also made Vester guitars, hence the 'V'. As far as I remember only the Standard series was made in Korea at that point.
