I also have a bunch of old Kramers and the folks in the Kramer club thread talked about them and the new Striker a lot although too new for someone to give a tonal revue. Maybe you'll be the first.

opinion of looks though? I like the pointys better and they should have put that on the Deciple and I would have bought one already since the price here in the states is also around 300.00

Woot Woot.

This thing showed up today. At this point I've only had it 2 hrs, but its pretty cool.I'll do a full review after playing it in a mix.

A few things ive noticed so far:

1) No EMG pickup - its a Rockfield - had to friggin google them. Its has exposed pole pieces, and actually sounds pretty good. I was PO'ed when I opened the box, but I'm chill now. Apparently it i a decent brand they use in BC riches and Micheal Kelly or whatever that dudes name is.

2) Its a metallic white, not just plain gloss white as i thought. Its subtle and looks great.

3) Mystery preamp. There is this giant piece of foam rubber glued to the preamp and then the battery is sitting on top of that. I'll have to take pics. The foam totally blocks access to the preamp.

4) Some fret ends on the treble side need a touch more filing.

Despite all this, I'm still sitting here with quite the s&%t-eating grin. I must say I like the sound!!!!

More to come.

So I've done 2 rehearsals with this thing now and it is great. Super light and ergonomic! The neck is so fast. Just needs a bit more fret work than it came with. The fret are level, just some sprout on the treble side. This new band (rockers) i've been playing with love the tone, pretty Ray-ish.

I've got one and I love this bass. I love the way it looks (I have the cayenne red and black one), I love the way it feels and I love the way it plays/sounds. Neck is perfect for me. So easy to play. Great bass for the money.
