Kramer DMZ 4000 and 350B

I have some questions about the Kramer DMZ 4000 (passive) and the 350B. I played both and I was wondering if you guys thought the 350B's single pick-up could pull off some versatile tones or not, I didn't really hear that but I was more focused on other basses. About the 4000, I liked some of the tone for more P-bass sounds (obviously) however I wasn't entirely confident about it's ability to pull off some lower bluesy tones. I was wondering if its just me and I need to play them again to make sure I know what I'm talking about. Or weather I should go some of the other basses I played. (including a much cheaper Univox Hi-Flyer).
