nobody builds a totally anything in the usa (or italy) anymore. overseas parts are a fact of life now.

and scotch, i hear ya about the color scheme on markbass. but when it gets right down to it, most ss amps are butt ugly anyway. all stuck in project boxes, no real flair or individuality like tube amps...and even many of them are going to a rackmount thing and getting all ugly and industrial. blecch...let's see some pretty amps again!

I've been seeing less and less Krank guitar heads these days, even within the metal community.

Over on Harmony Central some one from Krank was doing a lot of bragging about their amps being all us made. Someone else took pics of the inside of their Krank amp and it had a lot of Asian parts. So everyone started ripping on them.( my Allen Heath gl2432 was made in China and its great. but had I of known I would have looked at other brands.
One of the guitar players in my kids band had a Krank combo
and I thought it sounded great. He got rid of it and got an Engl.
