It looks more neon green.., maybe just the photo...
Green always photographs weird for me. Almost always comes out some shade of blue..... or MORE green.

I am very happy for you. It. reminds me of the arrival of my second (a charcoal, 1989 FCS sans stamp. 18V) and how it made me excited and happy (as every time I pick it up).

So I have a set of DR Pure Blues in 45-65-85-105 that I’d like to put on right away. I’ve been searching but I can’t find a reliable guide showing the correct string lengths. I have no idea what strings are on the sEx Factor now (yes new nickname except for the days I use it for worship gigs)!
I found this YouTube showing a good reference for string lengths, 9” past the saddle:
It shows up Tuesday. I’ll give it a day to acclimate to SoCal weather in the case then I’ll start the affair.

Easy answer, cut the strings to whatever lengths the current ones are!
I think I wrote down some lengths though, let me look in the case...
No idea where they came from so for whatever these may be worth:
E 47.5" 120cm
A 43.5" 110cm
D 43.5" 110cm
G 44" 112cm

I updated my post. Also, why wouldn't the easy way also be correct? It works! Besides, even if you measure, you only have to do it once... assuming it works, of course.
9" past the saddle is the general rule of thumb on this. Its not super critical considering that's a big wheel it wraps around. Heck, I've gone 9" past the top of the wheel and been just fine. Remember after cutting to kink the end to lock the round core on those PBs. Since this is your first one, be prepared to have some fun getting the last click. No need to elaborate until you've done it.

Yes, the finish on Factors are really thick so when they crash, chunks come off. I had a beat-up black '86 and stripped it. I can't say it sounded better with a thin tung-oil re-fin but it looked better!
Yeah, I'd like to see that too. They weren't Maple until after the FCS days, right?

I hoped you would ask!
After stripping I stained it orange and then hand-applied multiple coats of tung-oil. There was a deep ding on the lower 'horn' area so I left it and added a rhinestone. (sold many years ago)

It was alder, and if I remember correctly (and judging by my pic) it was a single slab.
