Kubicki newbie

Hello,

I am a 49 year old newbie.

My first bass was a bad precision copy, my first real bass was an aria sb 600, bolt on, armed with a lab series L4 and 2 eighteen inch speakers.. a mere 30 years ago.

In the interim, I use acoustic basses, or stand ups.

I found this site as I was looking for information on a bass I bought by mistake.. he was an alcoholic in a bar, which is where you find them.

My initial concerns were, I dont like short necks, or headless basses, and it looked old school 80/s, but felt fine, so I bought it. I appear to have bought a Zubicki ex factor for 200 euros.

The numbers on the headstock. are 1200, and 12 88, I assume that means pre fender, no idea, tbh.

Anyway, lightest action I have ever played, in over 30 years, and i am learning to love it. Any more information would be fine.

And RIP, the maker, odd to look up the history of a thing/, and feel sad at ownership. But it is a true work of art. And NO, it is not for sale, honour your errors as hidden intentions. SHE asked me what I was doing buying another guitar, or dog, or magic beans, from a drunk in a pub, I win.

I own a work of art, imho.

Cheers

PS.. only here as she says it another box in my room of things to do, I want confirmation that I did a good thing, nothing more. it is kind of metallic green, and needs the screws replacing.
