These have really shot up in value over recent years but even I think that is asking some. You will see them for sale in mint condition for a good deal less than that, although I must admit that this does look about as good as they get. I used to own two 1989 18V FC models and they were fantastic.
If you like the unique sound of a Kubicki Ex Factor I would recommend that you check out this piece by Yoshihiro Naruse. I am absolutely certain that the main riff is played on a Kubicki Ex Factor. In the late 80's, Yoshihiro mostly used a Spector but he did have an Ex Factor in his collection at the time. That distinctive 'quack' of the open E in the main riff is 100% Kubicki!
