Kustom Bass Cab

decent... i palyed a show throught a 4x10, i was pushing 1000 watts, but i was only turned up about 1/4, it was a nice sounding all around cab, nothing special though, those things are rated to handle 900 watts i think at 8ohms which is pretty huge, they are definalty good for the price

still waiting back for my 310 combo i bought about a month ago through musicians friend. got it, played for 10 minutes .. then blew.

It's being repaired right now .. the repair center has verified that the speakers didn't blow .. the amp receives a signal .. so it's something in the amp board ... he thinks the amp board fried due to poor shipping.

But while I played it for the 10 minutes .. it sounded great .. 1200 watt head .. 3 10" eminensce speakers rated at 310 watts per piece.

were talking about one of the newer kustoms, which i guess ive come under the impression before that theyve become an over all kinda crappy amateur brand but i have other sources who swear by them, but im still kiiinda skeptical....i just wanna know if i should settle for a kustom or save up for an ampeg or something higher end

Hmmm sorry I don't know anything about the new Kustoms. The one I have is 30 yrs old and sounds great to me. As for the Ampeg's if they sound good to you should get one.
