Double Bass Kustom PA PA50 anyone?

Has anyone used this little PA in conjunction with a mic and amp?
I"m considering adding it to my troll mic/Markbass 208 rig.

I had the larger 100watt version branded as Powerwerks, but they are identical to the Kustom units (same conglomerate making all of them). I would not recommend playing your bass through them. I tried it once. While the notes on G/D strings sounded fine, everything below started to distort with the E really farting the speakers out.

Even though they can't handle an upright bass, they are still really nice powered speakers for the money. Cheap but effective. I wish I wouldn't have sold mine. They are nice for low volume vocals and acoustic stuff. It made a great portable MP3 speaker to throw on the back deck too.

I'll second that. They are nice for low volume guitar/vocal gigs, but don't cut it for upright bass. Distortion early and, quite frankly, my bass is just about as loud acoustically as they are. it's not nearly as small, but I've been using an Alto 1x10 powered cab for a couple years now and it does a great job for around $200.
