i have no idea what a double $$ is...
I don't know what a Double $$ is, but I say if you try both and like both and that's most important to you then go with the cheaper one that'll make you happy.
If you tried them both for yourself what do YOU think?
In the end, it is your money, your decision.

One thing to add, just as a feature comparison - I do not believe the G&L's allow you to select either pickup as single coil. I think they can only do series/parallel.
How much that matters to you, I don't know. But it might matter to some, and I figured I would just throw it out there.

Order through a dealer, not MF. I got my $$ for less than the price you listed the G&L at.![]()
No doubt. MF is simply the easiest place to get an A/B price check.
I'll betcha through a G&L dealer I could get a better price as well.

Probably a dumb question, but:
How do you guys get the dealers to lower the prices.
They all pretty much use the same list/retail prices right? Also, I heard GC is really shying away from dropping anything from the retail price (just what i heard).
