La Bella 760FM-S Why did I buy these??

I got a set of short scale La Bella 760FM-S strings in the mail today. They'd been back-ordered for a couple of months, and... I had just forgotten about them. Specifically, I forgot why on Earth I bought them. 49-109 is a rather large gauge for short scales; even larger than the 45-100/105s I usually put on shortys. So...does anyone else here use these things? And, if so; what do you use them on? I use and like La Bella DTFs, but.. these things seem awfully large for any of my other shortys. Most of them are either kinda old, and/or also have pretty skinny little necks...

Been a while since you've posted this but I figured I'd answer.

I didn't get the FM but rather the FS set and put them on my Gibson shorty. Why? Because I like the tone, the feel, and the tension of these strings. I'd have bought the FM if they were available, as I used to use them on my regular scale Precision and loved them! Heck, I'd probably buy the FM set offa you if they haven't yet been cut.
