Seen a thread on here about them and I cannot find it for the life of me again.
I'm ordering a set of them to put on my axl player deluxe from BSO.Never ran flatwounds before.This should be interesting.

NSD strings came in today off to put them on.

"Hate" is a pretty strong word. "Meh" is more appropriate.

I put them on my 50's Classic Fender Precision and yanked 'em off within a couple of days. The D'Addario Chromes are much better suited for that bass.

A couple months later I tried them on my American Special Fender Precision (sans Grease bucket circuit) and yanked 'em off within a couple of hours. I'm happy with my Labella DTB 760FS on that bass.

Yup so far I'm liking them.Dig in get a growl play lighter mellows out with just a hint of growl.They tune great so far.Little bright right now but that should mellow after a bit.Slick not grabby like some have reported.Still need some time to play them to get the feel of them never ran flats.But overall I'm happy with them.My EMG pickups literally pick up everything from these strings. Really accentuates my horrible left hand technique and right hand thumb mute cool.
