Examples of the (confusing ?) LaBella packaging.

Often LaBella does put a "sticker" (under the factor sealed plastic overwrap) on the standard packaging of strings when the strings are Short, Medium, or XL scale vs. "standard long scale".

Sorry on the Low B gauge.

Best of luck in your quest.

Note - on a "popular auction site" I have 300+ sets of LaBella strings at up to 55% off retail pricing.

Thanks! I did see those LaBella strings on "that site" but I don't remember seeing and of what I was looking for. Perhaps I missed them.

She helped me find a tape wound set (black) for my Medium scale Ibanez 5 string acoustic bass about a year ago. They are USA distributors for Framus and Warwick stuff. The first 4 strings weren't all that hard to find but that low B string was unobtainium until I found out about these guys. They had to order it from Germany. I know they ordered extras when they ordered mine

She might be able to help you find white tape wounds as well.

Speaking of which,
So? how do/did you like the Warwick medium-scale black nylon tapewound B?

Keeping in mind it's on an Ibanez acoustic bass, it's "OK"...kinda flaccid actually but not terrible. Definitely not like a B string on a solid wood electric bass but nor did I really expect it to be thunderous as it is on some of my electric basses (like my 35" scale Lakland 5 string). Like I said, it does OK and is certainly there. If I bump up the lows on the onboard bass EQ it gets better but then I have to contend with low end feedback, even with a cover over the sound hole. When it starts that, my bass is telling me, "Step away from the speaker!"...LOL

The bass they're on:
