Labella Flats Tension/Gauge Question

Man you really think I should go that light?
I think you shouldn't. In my experience the tension is not that different depending wich flats and rounds you compare. In a P bass its better medium tension, going up if you use lights, because the place where the P sounds better (for me) is in the pickup spot where the strings are less tense vs bridge position more related to jazz basses.

I swapped 45-105 rounds to the DTF 760LF's and while they did feel stiffer it really had no impact on my ability to play it like I always have. On a bass where I am not doing bends/vibrato etc like a guitar I prefer that. The less flop he better. It helps with intonation, accuracy etc.. My jazz is keeping its rounds but the Yamaha 5er is in danger of getting flats too but I am not sold on the idea yet. I like the idea of a much stiffer low B but not sure sound wise I want that

Well I've been playing these DTFs for a few days now and I'm really liking them. There's a fullness that I just can't seem to get with rounds that I didn't know I was missing.

Question for you guys.

I like how they sound now, but what should I expect tonally when they "break in" after a month or so?
