As I noted in another post, Bass Direct in the UK still has some sets left (which might be of little interest if you're the wrong side of the Atlantic, and of none if your bass doesn't take medium-scale strings because they're apparently out of shorties, or never had them in the first place):

I've never been so disappointed with a string disappearing off the market. Oh well, I'll just what for a random short scale set to pop up randomly on eBay.

i was searching for la bella 1/4 rounds also. found uk direct. did find la bella Invalid Link Removed . been playing la bella light ga flats since 66 on gibson eb2. want to changes strings on that and gretsch g2220
