Fifths tuning. I have experienced with it in the past and now i have decided to go for it full time. Lots of fun and 6 string register (almost) on a four string. as a bonus: i never play The Chicken every time i pick up my bass anymore

That was my first guess - good luck! I recently bought a set of DR flats 45/65/90/125 for progressive tension on a shortscale downtuned to DGCF (and for one project 1/2 step below that) .
