I had a P/J set of the Lace Alumitone pickups installed on a Fender Mustang bass. The highly experienced luthier that installed them said the radius is off with the strings and the best he could do was set it up so the G string was slightly louder. I haven't picked it up yet. But, from what I understand is that these pickups are flat and there's no poles to adjust. Is there any remedy to this issue?
