Lakland 44-01 Soapbar Pickup Swap Question

Hey y'all, so after finally buying a Lakland 44-01 and loving the feel, I;ve come to the conclusion that I am not an active pickups kind of guy. I was hoping to get this pair of Duncan Basslines, but it looks like they aren't as wide as the Bartolini MK-1's in the Lakland 4/5 string Passive Phase II Soapbar SSB-4/5 - Seymour Duncan 4-String

I have a Fender Jazz with Duncan SJB3's in it that have a very thick and punchy tone and I'd love to have a similar tone in my Lakland. What passive soapbars would y'all suggest as a replacement for my MK-1's?

No, those definitely won't fit. Too wide and too short.

I would suggest replacing the preamp as well, with a Bart.

the mk1's are passive by the way. Personally I would suggest living with it a while longer stock. I blew out my first 55-01. Pickups, preamp - something didn't fit. A couple of years later I heard a local bud use his. From out front, what I perceived as harsh in the 55-01, sat in the mix extremely well. in amongst some much more expensive basses, a 44-01 is my main gigging axe. just added another one, fretless this time. one aspect is that the pre is very powerful. it is easy to over do it. I work the blend and my hand placement and very slight boost or cut on the mids and lows. The highs I roll off a little or crank a bunch depending.
The 44-01 doesn't give up it's secrets as easily as some basses. It's got the goods though.

Looks like lakland is now making a drop in LH3 pickup for the 44-01 and the 55-01.

I have a Lakland 55-01 with stock pickups. Sounds great, not gonna change them.

I think Aguilar makes 4-string soapbars that would fit the 44-01. I'm not experienced with those, but in my P bass the Aguilars sound ridiculously good.
