Lakland Decade....any pics?

Pics and specs here...available at ANY Lakland dealer but this bass is very near and dear to my heart as I spent a lot of time and energy in it's development.

I'm.............in love.

Aaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhh!!!! I thought I was GAS free with my Bob Glaub and GK rig but this bass has exactly the pu config I've been thinking about as a counterpart to my faithful P-bass. I was seriously thinking about ordering an epiphone EB-0 but screw that!!! I guess I'll have to wait for a skyline version though :( . I'll try to throw some business your way Dude.

Edit: Quick question Dude. I see on the Lakland site the USA version can come either passive or active. Will there be a passive option for the Skyline model? I like to keep my setup as simple as possible.

I don't know yet sorry but I would assume so. Dark Star "purists" seem to like them passive.

Here's a pic you won't find on the Lakland website....

Ya know, even though I'm a Lakland fan, the first time I saw this bass, I said to myself, "That's got to be one of the ugliest basses I've ever seen in my life."

I've taken a good look at it many times after that first instance. Every time, it just looked better and better. I've gone from hating it to kind of liking it.

Now I would love to hear one. Although that may not be great for my bank account.

I posted pricing in the other thread. Every Lakland dealer in the world works off the same price lists and the Decade models have been on the price list since January. If they have a 2005 Lakland price list they're on there right below the Hollowbody.

I believe what yer sayin...but I called the two bigger dealers in the MA area, and BOTH said they had no info. Buggers. Thanks for the pricing info, just saw it.

ARE they making a skyline version? Jus' curious, because 2800 for a passive bolt-on is just too spendy for me.
