That is one very tasteful 'burst . Very distinctive ... maybe it should be a catalog offering and become a Lakland trademark like the oval bridge plate and the short lower horn.

Yep! Stayin'! Some nice amber knobs would look cool too, but speed knobs are too much with the size, and the numbers...needs to be more minimal.

Very nice "slight burst." I can see that also working really nicely with a smaller-bodied bass than that (or than my Lakie).
