Very, very nice. I've always like unlined boards... it comes from my upright bass training and such. I had a couple of StingRays back in the day that were unlined and I loved them. I would like at some point to get an unlined 44-02 if that's even possible... but I don't think it is.

She landed! Gonna gig her this weekend at church...playing 4 services. Definitely gonna put rounds on...probably DR black beauties.

See, I come from an upright background and I studied classical bass in college, but I do NOT like unlined electric basses. On upright, there are quite a few physical checkpoints to help develop muscle memory, but not quite on fretless electric. I still use my ears like crazy and adjust as need be, but I like lines best.

Maybe this belongs in a different thread.

I too studied upright classically during high school. One day I'll have an URB again....right now my three little kids would liekly do something horrific to it I'm sure. My electrics are safe up on the wall. :eyebrow:

You mean you bottled out on getting a unlined, fan-fret, fretless ? Shame on you. ;)

I'm not that good! :D

There's only a few fretless Dingwalls in existence. Not sure how I would adjust to playing them.

Dude...I want that Bass!!!!!! COngrats!!!!

Thx Ferg. It sounds awesome, rear pickup solo'd both coils on...Stringray sound.

Gotta say, this is my first 4 string bass I've owned in 4 years. It's super light, compared to my Dingwall it feels like a toy. Of course the neck is smaller too (thickness is smaller) and feels great. But, no low B (and no low B like a Dingwall). Love it so far. Can't wait to play it live. Need to get rounds on it.

:)
