Note: duplicates a post on the LOG, but I am serious in hearing folks thoughts on this.

I love the chis for what they are passive, awesome to my ears, certainly more modern tone than traditional single coils.

Never played on a bass equipped with a J-retro (for more than maybe 5 minutes). I have some experience with the P-retro, and based on that awesomeness, I've been intrigued by adding a J-retro to my DJ with single coil chis.

I believe some of you may have much experience with this combination. Thoughts please?

Mark is already on my list. I fear that I may have scarred him for life on my last visit however.
Ha! I'm sure Mark can handle it, he's dealt with much worse.:D
Hey! If I bring mine can I toss it in with yours? I flew into Orlando from Columbus this morning and I'm at my gate out to Chicago now.
Aww shucks, we got started earlyish last night. See you at the GTG tomorrow, less than 24 hours away!:hyper:

For anyone going to the GTG who hasn't seen this notice in the GTG thread or on the LOG, here's a construction heads-up from Lakland:

"Hey All-
We've just heard that Irving Park Road will be closed completely at Ravenswood on Saturday, making that route difficult. Our suggestion would be: From the North, take either Western or Lincoln to Montrose, head East to Ravenswood. From the South, take Western to Montrose and head east to Ravenswood and turn South. From the East or West, take Montrose to Ravenswood and turn South. Parking will be along the stretch of Ravenswood between Montrose and Berteau on either the Northbound or Southbound sides. The Lakland factory is on the Southwest corner of Ravenswood and Berteau. Hope to see you all there!"

Pretty neat.
