I'm just going to put this right here...

More photos and info on the Link Removed :D
Absolutely stellar, Brian! Love it.

I wouldn't have dropped the coin for the refin and mods if this wasn't going to stay put.
No doubt. And yet I have seen other LOGers drop big bucks on mods and refins only to flip the bass months later. Makes no sense to me, but it ain't my $$.:D

Someone put together a music video from one of my group's 7" release show, that happened on Friday.

It's PRETTY good considering:

-I didn't know anyone was planning on making a video, we made no accomodations
-We weren't playing to a click and managed to play on time! Ha!

And I'd say it's BETTER than the time we actually tried to make a music video. This one is worth the footage at the 2min mark, more than the rest of the video.

Video 1 features my USA HB+Barts, which I'm absolutely in love with. I have rounds on it, and use a Dan Armstrong "Yellow Humper" with it...absolutely killer. Video 2 features a skyline glaub, which saw a lovely tour earlier this year and is now in the hands of someone else, out in Indiana, I believe.
That first track and the HB sound great! Nice playing.

I think some folks are under the impression that the HB is only good for quiet folk songs or something. They are very much mistaken!

oh thanks for the pooch reference...hahahah! :)

But you are not too far off...LOL

Yeah I cannot see the infamous Black Bart sporting the blue #007 Scheff anyways...
Just thought I would be a smart alec...

I know you were, so I threw it right back at ya. But yes, I think it might act like water on a witch with me - I'm melting!

Very nice!!!

Thank you sir!

Very cool!

Dude. That's awesomely hawt.

And I'm not even into black basses anymore :hiding:

Anymore? For shame - JK, thanks man appreciate it.

Thanks Greg. Yeah, I really had to think about going forth with the refin and all the hardware costs, but am quite pleased with the results. I didn't have the Scheff long before I decided to go for it, but it was one of those things where you pick up a bass and start playing and you just know, know what I mean?

Indeed! Didn't think I would really dig the more prominent mid output, but it has a nice timbre to it and of course I love the feel and comfort of the 4-94 body style.

As I said on the LOG site, that is one handsome bass, Brian!

Thanks Woody!

:D my first two basses were black w a dark rosewood board. Just not my style anymore (more into bursts/translucents and maple boards these days).

That being said that Scheff and your 44-94 are frakin sweet.

Funny, I wonder if I'll ever grow out of black, nah that's what the rents thought 30 years ago, still hasn't happened :D

Thanks man, pretty happy thus far with my little Lakland brood, and there is a third in production as we speak :hiding:

Looks like I'm buying this bass from Zoomie

Can I join the group? I just acquired a 55-02. First owner bought it new, had it two weeks, then sold it to me. I have wanted a 55-02 for years, and now I have arrived. Really loving it.
