Not that, just I want a $2,500 lens and a $3.000 D800 Body & grip...So $$ needed for work tools ...selling off 3 high end basses and getting some cash back in hand for items not being used. I have NO time to play right now. WAY too nice of a bass to sit in a case.
I want to throw this out there for the Lakies here first. I'm going to put my DLPEII up for sale. The inevitable last in, first out to buy some other gear. I will be returning to the Lakland stable at some point, so have no fear!
Thought I'd share this sample pulled from a recording of my blues band a few weeks back. (Do forgive my playing. I especially cringe at the Dom7 double-stops at 0:11.)

When I heard this played back the first time, I was pretty pleased, as I think I was on track for my tonal goals for this bass in this context.
(Signal chain: Lakland HB w/ JO flats into Electronix Submarine into [sfx] Red Dragon for a touch of OD, into Eden Metro combo. Recorded on a Sony "voice memo" type mp3 recorder that was sitting on the singer's music stand about 12 feet from my amp.)

Years ago, actually. It's a joint venture with ESP for the Japanese market. The Shoreline series, as it's called, rarely shows up in the US.

quality is between Skylines and US models (or so I hear!)
