Lakland Skyline Decade arriving in Oct...anyone else?

So, I bought one, I loved the tone with Darkstar and loved the look... of course mine will be with Chi-Sonics, I went for the single coil fully passive and I never had the baby in my hands, a leap of faith that will hopefully not be challenged when it'll arrive in Oct. I wanted a vintage sounding/looking 4 strings and I think the Decade would fit the bill nicely.

Anybody bought one/ tried one ?

I will be getting mine when they become available, I can't wait!

It's unbelievable the customer service that these guys have... between my last post and now I have exchanged 2 emails with Brian at Lakland who clarified.

The external case of the pickup in the above picture is the same whether single or humbucking coils. So, just from that you cannot tell which one the bass has....

You can't go wrong with Lakland, and I'm sure it will sound and play great. But am I the only one who doesn't like body shape?

Yes, it is different, kind of Wal, Gibson non reverse Tbird, but is Lakland's first real original design & now with their pickups, a true original Lakland. The shape grows on you, as many vintage bass shapes do.

Yep, they're good people over there, I've had the pleasure of meeting Dan, Carl and Brian.:) I want a Skyline Decade (I tried one, briefly), but I have to thin the herd a bit first, I think.
