laminating thin boards

When I use a vacuum bag to veneer, I use regular yellow glue, but to prevent warping I only apply glue only to the substrate, not to the veneer itself.

When I'm laying up laminations in bending forms, as when making a rocking chair, I typically use an epoxy or urea formaldehyde adhesive because they don't lead to the same warping problems as water-borne glues, they provide more open time, and they aren't elastic (don't creep) when cured. I usually reserve CA for small repairs. jobs
