Laney Pro-Linebacker 100 Watt Bass Head

Has any one ever head of a Laney Pro-Linebacker 100 Watt Bass Head?

I seem to be getting this amp confused with a guitar head.

Or rather, can an amp head be versatile enough for either instrument as long as you have the proper cab?

A local wants to trade this "bass head" for a project jazz bass body of mine. (i'm currently not using)

I just want to know if its actually a bass head.

Well, the guy backed out last minute. Its still for sale (70$), so I might go check it out.

Just picked one of these up off ebay for £20, looking forward to trying it out tomorrow.

Figured this would be a good place to ask if anyone has seen a copy of the manual for the head around on the internet, since my efforts failed. There really doesn't seem to be much info on the head online at all in fact.

Also, what size cab would be most suitable for a 100w solid state head such as this? I only have my Ampeg 8x10 available to play at the moment and not sure if using that would damage anything in my rig?

I had one of these years ago. Pretty punching for a 100 watter. In fact I would say its got its own thing going that is good. Nice tone, and pretty cool controls. I wouldn't mind picking up another one again.
