Last Comic Standing - Iliza

I didn't find her funny. Honestly I stopped watching this year's season because I thought overall the level of talent wasn't that high.

My favorites though from the first few episodes were the tall, bald british fellow with the upright bass (of course) and God's Pottery. The bass guy is a very smart comic...Iliza - not so much.

I though the best season was the one with Todd Glass, Alonzo Boden, Gary Gulman, Jon Hefron, etc...

I thought the best moment in the history of that show was last season when the woman was talking about how a friend of hers had had a baby and was all irrational abouther holding the baby. "She says I act like he's my baby every time I see him. Just yesterday she got mad because I was feeding him. I said 'Oh come on. He doesn't care whose breast it is."

The reason it's so funny to me is that I was explaining the operation of a breast pump to a new mother while this was in the background in the room.

I go to comedy clubs all the time and I've done stand up for fun myself. I hate to say this, but I think that women comedians normally just don't cut the mustard, with Ellen (the stand up ellen, not the sitcom Ellen) and a few others being the exception. Iliza did a great job as did Marcus with her having to pull out 3 times more material than anyone else.

I liked all of the remaining 5. On that note, I never got last year's winner John Reep. His routine at the finale this year never clicked with the "small town-a-tude" bit. I liked Adam Hunter as well, he just need to turn down the energy from 10 to 9 and put in better transitions between his jokes that went too far left to right in topic.

It has turned into A. Idol with 90 minutes of show, 10 minutes of real content.

I thought Gerry Dee should have won last season, I thought he was the funniest person I had ever seen.

I thought Iliza was the worst of the whole group though. Louis, Jim and Paul were years ahead of her as far as actual humor goes.

This whole season wasnt very good though, they spent way to much time in the first rounds and they came up with the finalists and winner way to quickly.

Also did anyone else think that indian guy with only one routine was the indian Geddy Lee?

I agree Gerry should've won. I think Jon Reep's Hemi exposure got him the victory.
