"Latest activity" feed duplicates threads

I don't know if it's a feature or a bug, but the "Latest Activity" feed will show the same thread at each point it was updated. If it was updated 1 minute ago, it appears in the feed. When scrolling down, the same thread will appear showing it was updated 10 minutes ago, and so on for all the prior updates/posts.

I was expecting a thread to only appear once in the "latest activity" feed.
