Lavoce vs Eminence

The new Ampeg RB112 is now installing Lavoce speakers (made in China) as opposed to a custom Eminence speaker 2018-2021,I never heard of Lavoce, I am leaning towards pulling the trigger in a 2021 model with Eminence

Both are fine speakers, I am about 95% sure those Eminence drivers are made in what was known as their “DG” facility in China.

It probably also depends on the tuning of the enclosure.

Presumably the designer choose reasonable tunings for the drivers they selected and any changes they might have made.

I have an older RB112 with the Eminence and have also played the newer ones with the Lavoce, and they sound pretty much the same. I think the Eminence had a little more in the high mids, the Lavoce favored low mids and bass, but both sounded like an RB112.
